Title: GOD SEES ALL!

1
GOD SEES ALL!
2
  • Somebody Is Watching You!

3
There Is Someone That Is Aware of Everything
We Say, Do,
or Think!
  • GOD
  • Such an awareness should have a major impact in
the way we live our lives!

4
We Are Often More Concerned with
What Man Sees Rather
Than God.
  • We are more concerned about being caught by
    people than God Himself!
  • We foolishly think that we have gotten away
with it when no one sees us sin.

5
Acts 51-3 (NASB)
  • 1 But a certain man named Ananias, with his wife
Sapphira, sold a piece of property, 2 and kept
back some of the price for himself, with his
wife's full knowledge, and bringing a portion of
it, he laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter
said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart
to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back some
of the price of the land?

6
Acts 54-6 (NASB)
  • 4 "While it remained unsold, did it not remain
your own? And after it was sold, was it not under
your control? Why is it that you have conceived
this deed in your heart? You have not lied to
men, but to God." 5 And as he heard these words,
Ananias fell down and breathed his last and
great fear came upon all who heard of it. 6 And
the young men arose and covered him up, and after
carrying him out, they buried him.

7
  • Like Ananias Sapphira, We Do not Stop to Think
    That God Is Watching Us!

8
We Are Often More Concerned About Impressing
People Than Pleasing God.
  • Good deeds for appearance sake

9
Matthew 61-3 (NASB)
  • 1 "Beware of practicing your righteousness
before men to be noticed by them otherwise you
have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.
2 "When therefore you give alms, do not sound a
trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the
synagogues and in the streets, that they may be
honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have
their reward in full. 3 "But when you give alms,
do not let your left hand know what your right
hand is doing 4 that your alms may be in secret
and your Father who sees in secret will repay you

10
Matthew 65-6 (NASB)
  • 5 "And when you pray, you are not to be as the
hypocrites for they love to stand and pray in
the synagogues and on the street corners, in
order to be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they
have their reward in full. 6 "But you, when
you pray, go into your inner room, and when you
have shut your door, pray to your Father who is
in secret, and your Father who sees in secret
    will repay you.

11
Are We Overly Concerned
About What Man Sees
to the Neglect of God?
  • Examples (1) Attendance to services
    (2) Giving (3) Serving (4) Teaching
    (5) Prayer
  • We need to be MORE concerned about the fact that
    GOD is watching us!

12
Let Us Come to Understand That God
Sees ALL!
  • What do you think of when you think of Gods
    involvement here on earth?

13
Psalm 114 (NASB)
  • The LORD is in His holy temple the Lord's
throne is in heaven His eyes behold, His eyelids
    test the sons of men.

14
There Is No Where We Can Go
to Hide from God!
  • Proverbs 153 (NASB) The eyes of the LORD are in
every place, watching the evil and the good.

15
  • The Eyes of the Lord Are in
    Every Place.

16
Job 3421-23 (NASB)
  • 21 "For His eyes are upon the ways of a man, and
    He sees all his steps.
22 "There is no darkness or deep shadow where the
workers of iniquity may hide themselves. 23 "For
He does not need to consider a man further, that
he the worker of iniquity ML should go before
    God in judgment.

17
He Sees All His
Steps.
  • God knows everything there is to know about us

18
Psalm 1391-4 (NASB)
  • 1 O LORD, Thou hast searched me and known me. 2
Thou dost know when I sit down and when I rise
up Thou dost understand my thought from afar. 3
Thou dost scrutinize my path and my lying down,
  • And art intimately acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O LORD, Thou dost know it all.

19
God Is Intimately Acquainted
with All Our Ways.
  • Examples (1) Strengths and weaknesses
  • (2) Our greatest temptations in life
  • (3) How we spend our days
  • (4) How we treat people
  • (5) Our thoughts
  • (6) What we treasure the most

20
  • Gods knowledge of us ought to humble us and
    profoundly affect our behavior!

21
Psalm 1395-7 (NASB)
  • 5 Thou hast enclosed me behind and before, and
laid Thy hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too
wonderful for me It is too high, I cannot attain
to it. 7 Where can I go from Thy Spirit? Or where
can I flee from Thy presence?

22
How Should Our Knowledge That God Sees All
Affect Our Behavior?
  • We will not attempt to hide our sins from God!

23
Jeremiah 1617 (NASB)
  • For My eyes are on all their ways they are not
hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity
    concealed from My eyes.
  • Even when we have fooled everyone, God is still
    witness!

24
Jeremiah 2923 (NASB)
  • 23 they have acted foolishly in Israel, and
have committed adultery with their neighbors'
wives, and have spoken words in My name falsely,
which I did not command them and I am He who
knows, and am a witness, "declares the LORD. '"

25
There Are No Sins
That God Will Not Expose.
  • Psalm 907-8 (NASB) 7 For we have been consumed
by Thine anger, and by Thy wrath we have been
dismayed. 8 Thou hast placed our iniquities
before Thee, our secret sins in the light of Thy
    presence.

26
God Will Find Us Out Every Time!
  • Psalm 4420-21 (NASB) 20 If we had forgotten the
name of our God, or extended our hands to a
strange god 21 Would not God find this out? For
He knows the secrets of the heart.

27
Ought to Make Us Stop and Think Before Sinning.
  • Proverbs 520-21 (NASB) 20 For why should you,
my son, be exhilarated with an adulteress, and
embrace the bosom of a foreigner? 21 For the ways
of a man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He
    watches all his paths.

28
  • God will hold us accountable for all that He sees
us do and God sees everything!

29
Hebrews 413 (NASB)
  • And there is no creature hidden from His sight,
but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes
of Him with whom we have to do. cf. Eccles.
    1213-14

30
Ought to give us strength and courage to face our
trials and temptations victoriously!
  • We Must Have Faith That God is There!

31
Hebrews 135-6 (NASB)
  • 5 Let your character be free from the love of
money, being content with what you have for He
Himself has said, "I will never desert you, nor
will I ever forsake you," 6 so that we
confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will
not be afraid. What shall man do to me?"

32
Preparing for Judgment Day
  • God will judge all of our secrets.
  • Romans 216 (NASB) on the day when, according to
my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men
through Christ Jesus. -- cf. John 1248 1 Cor.
    45

33
  • Rather than try to keep secrets from God,
confession and repentance of sins is the only way
mercy and salvation will be received.

34
Proverbs 2813 (NASB)
  • He who conceals his transgressions will not
prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them
    will find compassion.
    cf. 1 John 19

35
  • May the Fact That God Sees
    All Positively Affect
    Our Conduct from
    Day to Day, Throughout Our
    Lives!
