• Designing data entry sheets (in collaboration)
  previous to the first field visit allowing data
  standardization (Date, Block, Plots, Sub-plot,
  Treatment, and filenames)
• Designing data files structures in the light of
  statistical specifications
• Documenting data attributes at an early stage,
  thus fostering good experimental design
• Implementing an interactive private Web site that
  accepts information from the member of the group
• Using the LTER Network e-mail group facility
  (luq-cte_at_lternet.edu)
