  • Login to SWS a few days in advance be sure you
    still remember your password

Step 2 Sign In
  • Student Web Services (SWS) is available from the
    Loyola Law School Intranet
  • http//intranet.lls.edu/

Step 2 Sign In
  • Note you may not register until your scheduled
    starting date. If you sign in early, the system
    will inform you that you are currently
    ineligible to register.
  • You may still use other SWS features, such as
    viewing grades.

Step 3 Register
  • Note the messages area late-breaking information
    about registering will be here.
  • Click the Registration tab to begin.

  • Review your past enrollments, if necessary.
  • You may have already been registered for some
    Fall 2004 sections. If so, they will be listed on
    this screen.
  • Click Add Section.

  • Register for your required courses first.
  • Enter the Title or 3- or 4-digit Course Code.
  • Click Search.

  • Find the section you want, then click Add This.
  • To get details such as meeting dates and
    enrollment info, click Details.

  • Enrollment is immediate. Once you see this
    screen, you are enrolled in the section.
  • If there is a problem with your enrollment
    request, the results screen will display
    instructions on how to correct the error.

  • The enrollments screen shows your section along
    with the total number of units enrolled.
  • Repeat these steps to add more sections until
    your registration is complete.

Drop/Withdraw
  • You may drop an enrollment or drop from a
    waitlist on the Enrollments screen using the
    Status drop down lists.
  • The change is immediate do not click any buttons
    until the transaction completes.
  • Note Be careful changing your status you may
    not be able to get it back!

Step 4 Print Schedule
  • When your registration is complete, you should
    logout. No further steps are necessary.
  • Be sure to print your enrollments page for your
    records.
  • You may also click My Schedule, set the date to
    Aug. 23 or later, and print a calendar grid page.

Adding to Waitlists
  • You may waitlist a section by clicking Waitlist
    This.
  • If you waitlist a section, you are advised to
    also enroll in an open section of that offering.

Enrolling from Waitlists
  • After registration ends, waitlists are posted
    outside the Office of the Registrar and online at
    http//reg.lls.edu/.
  • Waitlist eligibility begins August 23.
  • When you have determined that you are eligible to
    enroll from a waitlist, use the drop down list on
    the enrollments page.
  • You may first need to drop a section.
