FIRST STEP
  • Open a Blank document.
  • click on BLANK document
  • click OK
  • Highlight Default picture.
  • click OK

CHANGE TO PORTRAIT VIEW
  • Go to
  • FILE
  • PICTURE SETUP
  • In Active Picture Tab, in Orientation box,
    click PORTRAIT.
  • click OK

INSERT PICTURE
Click within the blank picture Go
to Insert Picture From File My Pictures
folder Highlight your picture Click OK

FIT PICTURE TO SCREEN
Go to Zoom window and click on Fit All

FORMATTING PICTURE
  • To move the whole picture, click and when cursor
    is a quadruple arrow, drag picture to new
    position.
  • Picture will either be within the inner
    box/window or it will extend past the box. Only
    picture within the inner box will be printed.
  • To change the size of your picture to fit the
    page, click on corners (double arrow) and drag to
    get correct size.

DESIGNER EFFECTS
  • Go to Designer Effects and select the effect
    you prefer.

INSERTING TEXT
Go to Insert Text At this point you can
choose to format your text artistically by using
different colors and even designer text.
Remember, in order to keep your text within the
size of the picture or area, you may have to
limit the number of words per line. This isnt
as important to do when typing titles and names.

INSERTING TEXT - Continued
  • Copy and paste representations from your
    Microsoft Word document onto your picture.

PRINTING
Go to File Print In General tab, change
print quality to best. In Size tab,
change to Fit to page. Click OK

THINGS TO REMEMBER
Requirements for your ad 1. One representations
for each character trait. 2. Titled My
Character Portrait. 3. Your Name on
picture. Remember Your representations should
reflect who you are at this time in your
life. Check your spelling grammar. Make sure
you are able to read your text (check color).
