• Improve communication in the Libraries

What we did

• Inventoried Intranet content
• Usability testing on existing Intranet
• Wrote a plan for the Intranet redesign project
• Met with lots of people to discuss the plan
• Formed Team Intranet to direct the project (Mel,
  Tom L., Trudie, Elaine S., David W.)
• Met with lots of people to find what you wanted
  in the new Intranet

What we heard from you

• The current Intranet has lots of problems
• Give us ability to search the Intranet!
• Include "Whom to contact", and a "Libraries FAQ
• A Libraries calendar would be useful
• Make it easy to find forms and Libraries employee
  information such as phone nos.

Recommendations

• 2) UL_at_ND needs to grow and change to be
  successful. Maintenance will be very important,
  especially during the first year. We are
  recommending that Team Intranet continue to be
  responsible for UL_at_ND during its first year. At
  the end of the year, we will write a report to
  Dan M. with recommendations on who we think
  should be responsible for maintaining UL_at_ND.
