• To raise awareness of bullying and related issues
• Clarify what bullying is for behaviour management
  purposes
• Create a school climate where bullying is less
  tolerated

• Competition for Yrs 7-9 in ICT and an Anti-
  Bullying Wall created by Yr7 in the library
• Information of support available for students
• Clarification about what action can be taken by
  the school

Actual codeWhat is bullying?

• Generally constantly picking on a certain person
• Physical abuse
• Abusive comments including comments of a
  racist/sexist/homophobic nature or about
  someones appearance
• Intimidation, using threatening behaviour to make
  someone scared of you
• Damaging or stealing another persons property
• Forcing someone to do something they dont want
  to do
• Refusing to accept someone simply because they
  are different to you

• Tell someone at home
• Support each other
• Tell a teacher
• Keep a record of incidents
