Supply Point Administration Process

• xoserve (on behalf of GTs) manage the SPA
  process.
• The basic concepts behind Supply Point
  Administration are
• Driven by Shippers
• Monitored by xoserve
• Automated process, batch file requests received
  from Shippers into UKLink system which then
  validates generates the appropriate response.
• Gas Transporters (via UKLink system) interface
  with Shippers to ensure the Supply Point Register
  is maintained.
• All SPA files are issued responded to via the
  Information Exchange (IX).
• The following slides demonstrate how this process
  operates, and the industry players that are
  involved

Meter Read Loading

• NDM
• Shipper submits a file via IX (UMR)
• System limit is 400,000 Meter Reads per day
• Notional limit of 40,000 Meter Reads per day per
  Shipper
• Meter Reads must be submitted within D10 of
  meter read date
• Restrictions apply to the number of meter reads
  per MRF
• Response sent by xoserve via URS file
• Includes Rejections Accepted reads
• DM
• Automated Daily Reads received per datalogger by
  NGM
• Estimated where applicable
• Monitored maintained by a specialist team

Summary

• Installation of Daily Read Equipment (DRE) is
  requested via email to NGM, manual process
• It may be required for a dummy datalogger to be
  set up on UKLink to enable the shipper to
  nominate as DM
• Manual process to set up datalogger on UKLink
• Nomination Confirmation process is generally
  the same for both NDM DM IC sites.
