Option 1 Apply Resource Node Price to net
generation of Each Generation Resource

• Use current allocation method of determining
  generation injection into the grid (SCADA split)
• Payment to generators based on net generation and
  Resource Node Prices
• Netting load swapped as energy only
• Requires Resource Node price only

Option 2 Apply Price Adjustment Factor (this is
the proposal from 2-7-06)

• Use current allocation method of determining
  generation injection into the grid (SCADA split)
• Payment or Charge for Facility based on
  generation/import and load/export at metered
  points.
• Each generator is paid for the net generation at
  the adjusted Resource Node price.
• Requires Meter Point price and Resource Node price

Option 3 Pay at the Resource Node Price and
charge costs pro rata generation

• Use current allocation method of determining
  generation injection into the grid (SCADA split)
• Payment or Charge for Facility based on
  generation/import and load/export at metered
  points.
• Each generator is paid the SCADA generation at
  the resource node price and charged costs
  proportional to the generation.
• Requires Meter Point price and Resource Node price

  metering that utilizes a parallel current
  transformer configuration?
• What electrical bus should the meter be assigned
  to?
• What is the definition for Meter Point price?
• Concern
• If prices are different on the electrical buses
  at a generation site, there will be a difference
  in settlements between metering utilizing a
  parallel current transformer configuration and
  those that do not utilize this configuration
• Need to validate that current modeling supports
  obtaining a Resource Node price for generation in
  private networks.
• Do we have details that show the electrical bus
  that generation is connected to for private
  networks?
