• Rainbow set a classroom learning goal for her
  students and they dont know where they started
  as a class or how much progress they have made.

• Bubba has a schedule for PDSA- Plan in September,
  Do October through April, Study in May, and Act
  the next school year!

• Pappy has data posted all over the classroom that
  is not referred to.

• Zip uses a plus/delta to analyze the weekly
  learning process data and typically has 10-15
  delta to deal with in the next cycle. He spends
  the weekend thinking of ideas on how to address
  them.

• Jojo has implemented PDSA cycles containing many
  student responsibilities and very few teacher
  responsibilities because she is the planner and
  they are the doers.

• Dingo has identified what data to collect. He
  and his students collect it. They chart it.
  They think they are finished.

• Lala lets her students choose something to
  improve every week without her input. She boasts
  her commitment to her students as learners.

• Babs has every tool available to a CLS educator
  and is using them to collect data. She has made
  no changes in the way learning happens in her
  classroom.

• Pinky says he engages his students, I tell them
  what were going to learn. I tell them how were
  going to learn it. I tell them to follow the
  class rules. They dont pay very good attention,
  but I do involve them.

• Use PDSA as a tool to continually get better with
  and for your students.
• Follow the rules of PDSA.
• Use a detailed template to be sure you are not
  missing a vital step.
• Never stop the cyclethere is always to work on.
  Its o.k. Its a good thing to work toward
  perfection!
