Communicator can save your abbreviations and
automatically expand them while you are writing.
E.g. if you have made an abbreviation called br
(best regards), when you write br in
communicators text editor, Communicator will
automatically expand to best regard. To try
this first you must add the abbreviation. Go to
the Tools menu and select Dictionaries

• Click Abbreviations

Click Add
Enter br in the abbreviation field and best
regards in the expand field and click OK

Now you will see your new abbreviation in the
list. Click OK and click OK again to save.

Try to make some more of your own abbreviation.
E.g. names and places. Ny New York

Open the Upwrite Pointer display from the
Ready-made displays. Use your own keyboard to
write br remember to press the space key after
the abbreviation. The abbreviation will not be
expanded until you have pressed space key.
