Methodology

• Sweep application area free from all loose
  particles
• Ensure area is dry and not polluted with oil,
  grease, diesel etc
• Mark out the area
• For Potholes   Fill up the void, and
• Cut the BRP Road Patch to the required size or
  shape (with a 100mm overlap)

• Apply emulsion evenly to the marked out area and
  to the back of the BRP Road Patch
• 7. Allow emulsion to break over the entire area
  of the marked out area and the back of the BRP
  Road Patch i.e. emulsion turns from brown to
  black and becomes very tacky

• Place BRP Road Patch onto emulsion treated area.
  BRP Road Patch to be paper side down, aggregate
  side upwards (no overlap)
• Apply a small quantity of emulsion to edges and
  joints using a brush
• Blind edges and joints
• with crusher dust or sand
