Course Goals

• To develop previous mathematical experience,
  geometric skills, and concepts.
• To meet and or exceed all of the content
  standards for geometry as defined by the state of
  California
• To cover a whole range of topics such as
• Points, Lines, Planes
• Angles, Polygons, Circles
• Perimeter, Circumference, Area Volume
• Parallel and Perpendicular Lines and Planes
• Similar and Congruent Figures, Inequalities
• Logic, Geometric Proofs Constructions
• Coordinate and Transformational Geometry
• Special Right Triangles, Trigonometric Ratios

Classroom Rules and Guidelines

• You are tardy if you are not seated when the bell
  rings. A detention will be given for each tardy
  after 2
• Upon the 6th tardy, an unsatisfactory grade will
  be issued for citizenship.
• Bring all materials to class everyday (pencil,
  eraser, pen, book, notebook, calculator) You WILL
  NOT be excused to go to your locker.
• All graded work must be done in pencil
• You must keep your book covered at all times.
• No food, drinks, gum chewing, radios, electronic
  signaling devices, CD or tape players will be
  allowed in the classroom at any time.
• Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak
• We treat each other how we want to be treated.
• You are responsible for your own actions.

Discipline Procedure

• First violation will result in a warning.
• Second violation will result in a detention and a
  phone call home
• Third violation in any one day will result in a
  student being removed from class.
• If you have to leave class for any reason, you
  will be tardy
