Most of the computers at school currently do not
have the latest, greatest versions of
presentation software. So your latest greatest
presentations may not open in your
classroom. There is an easy way to solve this
problem.

There are tricks to saving your Power Point so it
works on your teachers computer. So before
you save your fabulous presentation to a disk or
flash drive or try to email it somewhere please
follow these instructions.

If you are a PC person,
when you save your presentation, Go to
File Save As thenName your file Click on
Save as type

Choose a type that includes Power Point 2000

If you are a MAC person, when you Save as Make
sure the format is shared by Power Point
through 2004

Another important hint When using an image from
the internet, do not just drag it into your
presentation. You must copy and paste it
otherwise it may not show up when you view your
slide show on another computer.

Once you have saved your project in the
appropriate format, then save it to your
Flash drive
or
disk
or
(if your teacher prefers)
Email it
