Introduction Analysis to the problem

• Our Goal is to alleviate problems with
  communication collaboration, and progression of
  projects
• The major problem within this company consists of
  and focuses on issues with communication
• Employees of the company travel across the
  country to develop websites for different
  customers
• need the ability to communicate with one another
• have the technology available to work on major
  projects while they are away.

• Go Daddy Server Space (includes 100 GB of space,
  1,000 GB transfer, and 1,000 email accounts)
• 20 Net meeting programs.
• Total 31,496.04 plus 880 dollars a month for
  the phone service.

Recommended Change of Main Office

• We recommend that their main office be changed
  around to support a more open environment of
  communication.
• all employees should work in one main common
  area.
• This will allow the communication within the
  office to open up.

Recommended Plan (Intermediate)

• Most upside due to the total cost and the amount
  of materials gained.
• Solves the communication problem utilizing a
  mixture of
• the cost efficiency of the Low-Cost plan
• increased job productivity of the All-Out plan.

Recommended Plan (Intermediate)

• Usually only one or two people will do the
  programming for the companies which is the reason
  for providing only ten laptops
• Everyone is provided with a cellular phone/mobile
  PDA.
• Alleviate the major communication issue with all
  employees.

Policy governing use of equipment

• Mondays Thursdays project teams meet and
  discuss their progress and assignments using
  phone conference and net meeting if capable.
• Fridays all localized projects are uploaded into
  the company server to aid in the collaborative
  process of the company and its employees.
• From every project team, one person is assigned
  the responsibilities of ensuring the before
  mentioned rules are upheld.

Conclusion

• We proposed three plans with three different
  solutions to relieve the communication issues.
• All Out Plan
• Intermediate Plan
• Low Cost Plan
• The plan we recommend is the Intermediate plan
  which includes 10 laptops, 20 cell phones, 10
  FrontPage packages, and 10 McAfee suites.
• This plan should allow your company to receive
  the most technology among the lowest cost.

Conclusion

• We have not addressed the total cost of
  reorganizing your companys building to have one
  main common area however that particular cost is
  projected to be diminutive.
