What is the difference between Moodle and TAFEVC

• Moodle is an open source LMS so it is downloaded
  and runs from your server. TAFEVC is hosted
  externally and your organisation is given rights
  to access it.
• Moodle is modular and can be built upon as your
  needs grow. TAFEVC can also include more or less
  features.
• Moodle is free, TAFEVC has a cost.
• Moodle is structured in a linier fashion, TAFEVC
  is grouped in folders.
• Moodle has built in web 2.0 functions
• TAFEVC comes with external extras such as live
  classrooms, eportfolios and authoring tools.
