• Value of having a connection type in the
  discovery response
• Value of having speed indicator (perhaps
  relative) in the discovery response
• Some have said this would be valuable
• Value of having a preference indicator
• Perhaps instead of a speed indicator
• Some have said that this is useful even with
  speed value

  Preference
• PGN- Portal Group Number (in RFC3720)
• Type 0- nn IANA registered values
• 0 iSCSI
• 1 iWARP
• 2 IB
• 3
• Speed 1x, 2x, 4x, etc
• Preference 0 n Higher value is higher
  preference

• Need to come up with a method for being
  compatible with previous implementations
• Perhaps a new field in the Request
• SendTargets command with new filed
• Example SendTargets ltiSCSI-target-namegt,TSP
• Where TSP stands for Type, Speed, Preference
