Manoa Alligator
  • Habitat
  • Lives in the Manoa stream behind the Apartments.
  • Size
  • Ranges from 10-58 feet. Depending on who spotted
    the beast.
  • Diet
  • Consumed 1-3 students a month and 5-10 hobos.
  • Lifestyle
  • Pretty chill, Hes good buds whit the mutant
    catfish and they pretty much swim and smoke all
    day.

  • Many of you may not know of the alligators
    existence. Its UHs big secret, and they write
    off the consumed students as transfers.
  • Its a very cleaver animal and often disguised as
    a shopping cart or traffic cone.

    are a problem in some places.
  • They do eat people, but its rare.
  • If any of you are gazelles, then you may want to
    worry.

Alligator Attack Prevention Methods
  • Dont travel to some places
  • Dont hang out with the Crocodile Hunter
  • Dont dangle your baby in alligator exhibits
  • Dont feed, poke, wrestle, molest, massage, date,
    or advance on an alligator.
  • Most importantly, Dont get dunk and visit the
    zoo.

Prevention and Treatment
  • Look for marine warning signs
  • Dont go in the water if jellyfish have been
    spotted.
  • Dont play with the jellies
  • Look before you leap
  • Douse/spray with vinegar
  • Pluck off tentacles carefully-dont use your
    fingers or hands
  • Hot pack/ice pack
  • Medical help for anaphylactic shock

    him. He rides a 610 Round Pin Short board.

  • Original beliefs were that the polar bears flew
    to Hawaii.
  • Turns out its not true.

  • The belief was then changed, and people thought
    it sailed to the Islands.
  • Unfortunately it turns out this is also false.

  • Well, truthfully there is no native Hawaiian
    polar bears, or bears in the island for that
    matter.
  • Thus, this living in Hawaii is the first
    prevention step in avoiding a polar bear attack.

Prevention Methods
  • Dont move to Alaska, Canada, or the Artic
  • Don't live in an igloo
  • Dont wear animal fur when on an empty glacier
  • Dont leave your igloo with raw meat in your
    pockets
  • Dont poke polar Bears

However, you dont listen and get charged by a
Polar Bear.
  • Find your favorite song on your Ipod, cause polar
    bears are really fast and your pretty much
    screwed.
  • You could charge the polar bear, I wouldnt
    recommend it.
  • Best advice, stay away. Igloo hospitals are not
    very efficient.

  • Wear foot protection
  • Dont walk on rocky areas with poor visability
  • Dont handle
  • Soak in warm water
  • Removes spines with tweezers
  • Scrap with razor and shaving cream

  • 1-2 tablets of acetaminophen every 4 hours
  • 1-2 tablets of ibuprofen every 6-8 hours
  • Scrub with soap and water
  • Do not close wound with tape
  • If infection occurs - pus, redness and heat
  • Antibiotic ointment

Prevention
  • Keep a safe distance between yourself and dogs
    being walked on leash.
  • Ask owner's permission before approaching a dog,
    on leash or in yard.
  • Never approach a barking, snarling, sleeping,
    eating, or nursing dog.
  • Stay Calm!
  • Do not stare the dog in the eyes.
  • Turn sideways and slowly withdraw.
  • Put an object such as a tree, post, or bench
    between you and the dog.
  • Speak softly and gently to calm the dog, "Good
    dog, it's OK, go home."
  • Stand still or maintain a constant slow pace out
    of the dog's territory.

REMAIN CALM!
  • If local law allows, use pepper spray when
    charged by the dog.
  • If charged, get something between you and the
    dog's mouth - umbrella, pack, jacket, stick
  • If attacked, curl up in a ball and protect your
    face, neck, and head.
