• Purpose/Outcome
• Present the proposed charter to the GGF community
  for discussion. It was agreed to remove
  references to protocols, exchange,
  interchange,and any task that deals with doing
  something with the record. Defining the usage
  data record itself was agreed to be a sufficient
  challenge to warrant narrowing the scope of the
  WG.
• There was definite consensus to create the WG,
  with the revision in scope.
• Plans
• Between now and GGF6, the WG will work via the
  mailing list to finalize the charter. The mailing
  list group will also decide who should serve as
  WG leader, since this was not discussed at the
  BOF and there were key people missing from GGF5.
• The Usage Record WG will meet at GGF-6. At that
  time we expect to have an approved charter and
  have made significant progress on identifying
  current practices. It is possible that, working
  via the mailing list, a rough draft may be ready
  for discussion.
• This WG will terminate once the Usage Record
  format has been approved and accepted by the GGF
  community.
