Aims
  • To establish a model private sector leasing
    scheme
  • To produce a toolkit of legal, financial,
    marketing and risk management materials allowing
    the project to be rolled out regionally and
    nationally
  • The toolkit to be produced on a CD Rom
  • To launch the Scheme at a Conference to be held
    in August/September 2007

What is Private Sector Leasing?
  • Partnership between the private sector, a housing
    association and the local authority.
  • The owners of empty properties provide the homes,
    the housing association provides the housing
    management and takes care of dayto-day repairs
    and maintenance, and the local authority provides
    the tenants.

    lease?
