About CAWT .........

• Cooperation and Working Together cross border
  health and social care partnership formed in 1992
• Region includes land boundary between the
  Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland
  (population 1.2 million)
• Improve health and social well-being through
  practical cross border projects

• Funding secured under the EU INTERREG III
  Programme for 3 years
• Two products developed
• Outcomes based planning tool

• Use tools previously developed to carry out
  specific planning to improve outcomes for
  children and young people

Locality Planning Sites

• 4 areas identified across CAWT region using key
  criteria
• Analysis of information and data on how children
  young people are doing
• Identify areas in need
• Eliminate areas that had substantial funding
• Community infrastructure

Role of Locality Planning Groups

• To engage with relevant agencies statutory,
  community, voluntary, private
• To ensure participation of children, young people
  families
• To examine data, statistical and qualitative
  information
• To develop multi-agency action plans
• To influence deployment of resources
