History

• 20-30 years of history green movement can be
  dated from the middle of 80s when the Danube
  movement got started
• since the early nineties the annual general
  meetings of the green NGOs

Institutional Framework

• AGM
• delegates to commissions, councils and
  intra-governmental bodies
• seven delegates in the National Environment
  Council
• every year a group of people is delegated to the
  money dispersing committee

Money distribution

• the green movement is the first sub-sector of the
  civil society which elaborated an accepted and
  transparent method for the distribution of state
  funds

Information flow

• the system of Monthly Meetings are also part of
  the information exchange and a forum of meeting
  for the whole green society organized by the
  Hungarian Environmental Partnership (EPCE Hungary)

Conciliation Forum

• new system of ad hoc decision making body and
  communication came into place
• Facilitated by the Hungarian Environmental
  Partnership as an independent foundation
