 1Jeopardy Procedures and Rules
- Get into groups of 4-5 people. One person should 
 volunteer to be the timekeeper.
- Questions will move from left to right across the 
 room (from the TV to Ms. Gs desk)
- Students will chose a category and point value 
 (1-5)
- If the correct answer is given, the group 
 receives the point value that they chose.
- If an incorrect answer is given, another group 
 will have the option to answer for ONE point,
 regardless of the questions original point
 value. Other teams may NOT volunteer until AFTER
 the original teams question is proclaimed
 incorrect.

- ALL PARTS of the question must be answered 100 
 correctly to receive points.
- Some questions have a bonus portion for either 
 1 or 2 points. Correct answers will be added to
 the groups score. Incorrect answers will
 subtract from the groups score. The bonus may
 be omitted. Bonus questions may not be answered
 by other groups if incorrect.
- Bonus points will be awarded the following way 
- First place 5 points 
- Second place 3 points 
- Disrespectful or disruptive teams will have 
 points removed from their score for talking or
 yelling out answers during jeopardy play.
