GENERAL AIM
The LABORIENT project aims at developing a
virtual collaborative learning platform among
Guidance and advising professionals, policy
makers and to a further extent users aiming at
defining a new Lifelong Guidance Model with the
regional level as the focus and establishing a
common knowledge ground to support policy
orientation, definition, implementation and
evaluation at regional and local level and the
respective integration of action

OBJECTIVES
  • To REVIEW the state of the art of the GUIDANCE
    SYSTEMS and the respective contexts of the
    participating institutions
  • To develop the basis for a BENCHMARKING SYSTEM to
    Regional Administrations to compare the processes
    and results of their Guidance systems and
    proposing a set of indicators able to read the
    realities within the regional contexts involved
    which are transferable to other contexts aiming
    at developing a Lifelong Guidance Model
  • To design a COMPETENCE MAP on policy makers and
    guidance professionals from the different
    institutions involved (local regional
    administrations and Universities)
  • To design and test a COLLABORATIVE LEARNING
    PLATFORM on vocational guidance and advice as a
    lifelong exercise and open not only to policy
    makers, local and regional services and
    professionals but also to a further extent to
    final users to promote cooperation between the
    different actors and structures
  • To promote a COMMON PROFESSIONAL CULTURE among
    guidance officers and professionals to understand
    guidance as an exercise to develop during the
    whole lifecycle, an enriching experience that can
    be a key tool to personal development
  • To define and develop a MONITORING AND EVALUATION
    SYSTEM, including methods and tools to be used by
    all the actors involved to assess the activities
    that will be carried out in the frame of the
    project from a formative evaluation approach and
    measure the impact/outcome, able to accompany the
    project in its long-term development
  • To DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS AND KNOWLEDGE
    developed by the project addressing local,
    regional, national and European policy makers,
    guidance professionals and final users of the
    project
