• Astronaut, Dave Williams, said, after viewing
  Earth from the space station, I am truly in awe
  of the beauty of the planet, and its something
  Ive been able to experience in so many different
  environments, whether in space, underwater,
  camping, hiking or climbing mountains or
  whatever. For me, it generates a sense of
  planetary stewardship.

• Stewardship is a way of acting that involves
  taking personal responsibility for the management
  and care of something. Planetary stewardship
  means working to take care of the whole world. A
  more common term for this is environmental
  stewardship.

• Christian stewardship is doing the Creators will
  in caring for the earth and striving to preserve
  and restore the integrity, stability, and beauty
  of the created order, responding to creations
  eager expectation of redemption.

• First Nations teach that the members of each
  generation must be careful stewards of the Earth
  to ensure the survival of at least the next seven
  generations.
• For this to be possible, natural resources must
  be used in a sustainable way and biodiversity
  must be preserved.
