What is Hypermedia?

  interactive linking, and hence nonlinear
  traversal of information that is presented in
  multiple forms that include text, still or
  animated graphics, movie segments, sounds, and
  music.

QuickTime VR offers two types of views

• Panoramic movies
• enter a space, e.g. an outdoors scene or a room
• Object movies
• view an object from all sides, e.g. a sculpture

How QuickTime VR works?

• Use a 35 mm camera with a 15 mm lens on a tripod
  to shoot a series of pictures, turning the camera
  30 degrees after each exposure
• Digitize the images using a scanner

How do you piece together photographs to make a
panorama?

overlapping features and automatically stitches
the images together
