• countries (China, Japan and Korea) in November
  7th 2002
• Scope and objectives of collaboration have been
  defined

• Objectives

• To exchange views and information on the status
  of IT industries
• To monitor the developments of standards issues
  in IT fields within three countries
• To encourage mutual support and assistance
• To contribute to the regional and global
  standards bodies to contribute to the
• regional and global standards bodies

Suggestions for Way Forward after Phase 2

• continue our core collaboration activities
• ITU-R WP8F related work Information Sharing
  and attempt to develop joint contribution if
  necessary
• Whitepapers update after the approval of version
  1 at this meeting
• Each SDO adopt the approved joint whitepapers as
  their technical reports
• establish Ad-hocs for 3GPP/3GPP2/IEEE 802.16
  IMT-Advanced
• Make a list of participants for each adhoc
• Encourage members to share information and
  coordinate amongst members
• finalize our collaboration objective and
  methodology for Phase 3 (IMT-Advanced Standard
  Collaboration) in detail at the next CJK meeting
  after WRC07/ITU-R WP8F meetings.
