  • 4 servings of the vegetable group
  • 3 servings of fruit
  • 3 servings of milk
  • 6 oz. serving of the meat group

The Five Food Groups Are
  • Breads, Cereals, Grains, and Pasta
  • Meats, Poultry, Fish, Dried Beans and Legumes
  • Milk and Milk Products
  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Fats, Oils, and Sweets are included, but USE
    SPARINGLY

The Vegetable Group is plant based and a great
source of Vitamin A.
  • Fruit is plant based and a good source of Vitamin
    C.

The Meat Group comes from both plants and animals.
