Educational supervision

Educational supervisor
  • Supports the GPStRs e-portfolio
  • It is the GPStRs responsibility to complete the
    e-portfolio
  • GPStRs are responsible for collating their own
    learning agenda for each post, which they will do
    with their clinical supervisor at the start of
    each post
  • Responsible for assessments at 6, 12, 18, 24, 30
    and 34 months
  • Assess overall performance progression
  • Plans further educational development with the
    GPStR
  • Annual appraisal 3-4 weeks before Deanery panel
  • Report to Deanery panel within eportfolio

    about look at self ratings, competency and
    curriculum coverage.

Final ed sup interview

  • Sign off OOH (OK to sign off if last sessions

    into their first peer appraisal
