Educational supervisor

• Supports the GPStRs e-portfolio
• It is the GPStRs responsibility to complete the
  e-portfolio
• GPStRs are responsible for collating their own
  learning agenda for each post, which they will do
  with their clinical supervisor at the start of
  each post
• Responsible for assessments at 6, 12, 18, 24, 30
  and 34 months
• Assess overall performance progression
• Plans further educational development with the
  GPStR
• Annual appraisal 3-4 weeks before Deanery panel
• Report to Deanery panel within eportfolio

• GPR must have completed
• all declarations signed
• minimum number of assessments COT, CbD, PSQ,
  MSF etc
• the skills log self assessment including some
  reflection
• the competence areas self assessment including
  some reflection on their self assessment
• some thinking about their curriculum coverage,
  where they are up to and where they need to get
  to
• This is equivalent to the form 3

• Educational supervisor must have completed

• check minimum assessments completed
• an overview of the eportfolio where is the GPR
  up to and what might they need to be thinking
  about look at self ratings, competency and
  curriculum coverage.

• the rating of the GPR competencies this may be
  updated during the discussion
• This is equivalent to appraisal preparation

Final ed sup interview

• Educational supervisor must
• Sign off OOH (OK to sign off if last sessions
  planned)
• Create an annual PDP with the GPR to lead the GPR
  into their first peer appraisal
