    arrangements in context of personalisation

Our objectives
  • Develop a commissioning model for personalisation
    across Ealing Council and NHS Ealing, from which
    a commissioning strategy can be developed
  • Review organisational design to ensure that
    integrated commissioning is fit for purpose in
    the future

What we have achieved
  • Successfully increased the understanding and
    engagement of commissioners well established in
    local authority and growing in NHS
  • Written commissioning model which defines roles
    and responsibilities of commissioners
  • Agreed draft organisational structure designed to
    support commissioning model

Where do we go next?
  • Implement outline commissioning model
  • Set up support planning and brokerage systems for
    local authority individual budgets by April 2010
  • Use the framework for Personal Health Budgets by
    August 2010
  • Establish 2011-2016 strategic plan for integrated
    commissioning by April 2011
