- To exit the slide show, hit the Esc key.
- To print the eListing Tutorial, exit the slide
show and right click on the link.
- To move directly to a topic instead of seeing the

- First time users must register before using
eListing.
- After youve registered, youll log in from
here.
- Personal Property contact numbers.
5Register for eListing
- Fields with asterisks are required.
- Fields without an asterisk are not required.
- Help phone number and email are at the bottom of
each eListing page.
6Your User Name and Password
- At least 2 out of the 8 or more characters for
your password must be something other than
numbers or letters. For example, !, , ,
- Your security question should be something only
you would be able to answer.
7Logging In
8Getting Your Password Emailed to You.
Check your email to get your password and then
click on the Return to eListing Home Page link to
sign in.
9User Account Profile
- Confirms that you are logged in with your
username.
- These buttons allow you to modify your Account
Profile.
- The first time you log in, you will not see any
accounts here. After adding accounts using the
Add Account Access button, your accounts will
appear here.
10Adding Access to an Account
- You must add an account before you can see it
in the list of accounts you have access to.
11Added Account Confirmation
Click on the Return to eListing User Account
Profile Page link to return to your list of
accounts.
12Updating Your Contact Info
- Always keep your contact info up-to-date so that
youll receive all Personal Property mailings
promptly.
13Updating Your Password
14Add Account Users
- This feature allows you to give access to one or
multiple users for each of your accounts. Those
users may then view and update account data. It
is your responsibility as a business owner to
keep the account users updated.
15Updating Account Users
- Once users are set up, they may be given
permissions to either view only or to modify
specified accounts. Users can be removed and
permissions changed.
16Updating User Permissions
- Check all accounts you wish this user to be able
to view only.
- Check all accounts you wish this user to be able
to view and modify.
17Deleting Users
- Remember, it is your responsibility as a business
owner to delete any and all users you do not wish
to have access to your account. For example, if
you change accountants, you must update user
permissions.
18Accessing and Navigating in an Account
- Go directly to any section of the account by
clicking its link in the blue column along the
left side.
- To work sequentially through the eListing, click
the Next button in the bottom right corner of
each page.
19Account General Information
- Change any info that needs to be updated.
- If you change the physical location, make sure to
enter the date of the move.
- Always Save before going to next section.
20Business Sold
- If your business was sold, make sure to provide
all requested information on the sale.
- Dont forget to send, fax or email copies of the
documents to the Assessors Office.
21Business Closed or Moved Out of County
- If you closed or moved your business out of King
County, provide all of the requested
information.
22Mailing Address Contact Info
- Keep the taxpayer name and mailing address
updated so you receive all mailings from the
Assessors Office promptly.
- The name and contact info of the person who
should be contacted with any questions regarding
the listing.
23Exemptions
- Head of Family is for qualifying Sole Proprietors
ONLY.
- Check the box if you qualify for the Farm
exemption and...
- Click on the Qualification Questionnaire link and
send, fax or email the completed form to the
indicated address or number listed.
24Supplies
- Remember to click Save before moving to the next
section.
25Adding New Assets
- Use the drop down menu to select an appropriate
category code.
- After adding year and cost, select a reason by
using the drop down menu.
- If you have rental DVDs, videos or game
cartridges, enter the quantity.
- After adding each new asset, make sure to click
on Add New Owned Asset.
26Editing Existing Assets
- After clicking Edit, make any needed changes.
- If you no longer have the asset, check the delete
box.
- To save any changes including deletes, click
Update or click Cancel to undo changes.
27Adding Formerly Leased Assets
- Enter new formerly leased assets by filling in
the top portion of the page, the same as adding
other new assets.
- Be sure to click the Add New Formerly Leased
button.
28Editing Formerly Leased Assets
- Click Edit.
- Update any asset information.
- Click the Delete box if you no longer have the
asset.
- Click Update or Cancel.
29Adding and Editing Leasehold/Tenant Improvements
- Add new Leasehold/Tenant Improvements by entering
data and clicking the Add New Leasehold/Tenant
Improvement button.
- Edit existing assets by clicking Edit, updating
the info and then clicking Update in the same
manner as on the Owned Assets page.
30Leased Property
- The first time you add Leased Property, youll
need to add the leasing companys name.
Thereafter, that name and any others youve added
will be available in the drop down menu.
31Adding/Editing Leased Property
- Add new leased assets and edit existing assets in
the same manner as on previous pages.
32Verifying Account Info
- Carefully go through each section of your account
and verify that the information is complete and
accurate.
33Finishing and Submitting your Listing
- The Verify box must be checked before clicking on
the Finish button.
- Make sure that your Listing is completely
accurate before clicking the Finish button to
submit your listing. After clicking Finish, you
will need to reactivate your listing to make
changes.
34Confirmation
Congrats--Youre finished! Quick, and easy as
pie.
- This page confirms that your listing was
submitted.
- Reactivate the account to make changes by
returning to the Profile Page. Click on the
account number and then the Activate for Resubmit
button. Remember to resubmit after completing
changes. - Please print the listing for your records. The
Click here to print listing for your records
button will take you to the Print Version page.
Click the Print this page button.
