Background Information about Ronald Reagan

• He went to high school in nearby Dixon
• Went to college at Eureka College, where he
  studied economics and sociology
• He was also on the football team and acted in
  school plays
• Upon graduation he became a sports-radio
  announcer
• After wards he was screen tested for a movie in
  1937, and that year he was in his first film
• His parents are named John and Nelle Reagan
• He had a brother who was a couple years older
  than him
• Also, he was a lifeguard and was said to have
  saved 77 people

• Ronald Reagan had Alzheimers Disease
• He was shot during his first term, but got over
  it and continued his duty as president
• He broke his hip in 2001
• He fought to stop communism in Russia
• Also, he struggled to win the Cold War
• He had surgery for skin cancer

• Ronald Reagan has leadership because he lead us
  to stopping communism by taking a risk and
  putting our army in front of Russia when
  something bad could have happened.
• Also, he has showed compassion for the country
  since he led the U.S. to have the longest period
  of peace.
• He has also provided service and help for our
  country when he tried and succeeded to stop
  communism in Russia.

A Lesson He has Taught Us

• I believe that Ronald Reagan has taught us the
  lesson to always try and do what you think is
  best for other people around you. An example of
  this is that Ronald Reagan was always trying to
  help out country, which led to the longest time
  of peace and prosperity in the U.S.
