- To end all forms of peer aggression/bullying by
promoting peace and a sense of belonging and
acceptance in all students. - To promote the Golden Rule-treat others the way
you want to be treated. - To empower victims and bystanders by equipping
them with knowledge and skills. - To support and encourage students who are taking
a stand against peer aggression and bullying.
11Advisory Groups
- Every 6th grade student will be involved
- Each group will consist of 10-15 students
- Groups will be facilitated by SAMS staff
- Open discussions regarding transition to SAMS and
character education - Groups will meet during lunch every cycle

- Any and all medicines need to be brought to
school in the original container. - Meds in other containers or zip-loc bags will not
be accepted. - Ask your pharmacist for a second bottle for
school. - Need signed permission from parents and
physician. - Only necessary medications will be given at
school. - Standing order med permission forms (Tylenol,
TUMS, cough drops, Orajel). No permissionno
meds given. - Asthma self-medication

Mr. Bohle, Principal, SAMS
- Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Reading and
Social Studies are year-long courses taught by a
team of teachers. - Physical education and Health are year-long
courses taught on alternating days. - Students will rotate among the Unified Arts
classes throughout the school year. - We operate on a 6 day cycle.
- There are 10 periods in a day. Each period is 41
minutes long, including lunch.
