What is Simplified SCRIP?

• Simplified SCRIP is an exclusive gift card
  fundraising program that turns everyday purchases
  into cash for your school or group.
• There are hundreds of gift cards to choose from. 
  
• They are the same gift cards that you purchase at
  the store, but these cards earn a donation for
  your group.   
• Because the merchant issuing the gift card makes
  the contribution, the gift card is worth its full
  face value.

Who can participate?

• Any member of our club can maintain a club
  account.
• Players
• National, Regional, Youth, VolleyTots Programs
• Coaches
• Anyone can order gift cards
• This includes your family, friends, coworkers,
  etc.
• It is important that the athletes name is
  provided on the order form so we know which club
  account to credit the donation to. (Please see
  ordering instructions)

How does the program work?

• Order gift cards from Simplified SCRIP.
• This can be done by you, your friends, relatives,
  coworkers, etc.
• Make your normal purchases but instead of paying
  with cash, check, debit, or credit cardsuse the
  gift cards.
• Each merchant will make a donation to Midwest
  Juniors when you purchase their gift card(s).
• A list of each merchants donation percentage can
  be found on the order form or at
  www.simplifiedscrip.com.
• Midwest Juniors deposits 75 of that donation
  into a club account in your name.

• Create a profile.
• Go to www.simplifiedscrip.com
• Click on Customer Sign In
• Click on Become a Customer
• Enter your customer information.
• Please Note In order to credit your club
  account, anyone that is helping you fundraise
  MUST enter the athletes name in the STUDENT
  NAME field.
• 2. Go Shopping!!!
• There are hundreds of cards to choose from on
  www.simplifiedscrip.com
• Click on Proceed to Checkout when your order is
  complete.
• 3. Select our group
• Input Verona, WI
• Select MIDWEST JRS. VOLLEYBALL from the
  alphabetical list.
• 4. Provide Payment Information
• Simplified SCRIP offers a very secure website for
  you to input your payment information.
• If you or one of your donors is uncomfortable
  submitting this information over the internet,
  they can call Jenny at [phone] to submit
  payment. Otherwise, they are welcome to use one
  of the other methods to place an order.

Why cant I pay by credit card?

• Credit card transactions may cost as much as 3
  of the purchase. To ensure a donation is created
  with each purchase Simplified SCRIP can not
  accept credit cards as a form of payment. By
  paying by check or ACH withdrawal from your
  checking account, Simplified SCRIP can save the
  transaction fees credit cards charge and pass the
  savings on to your school or organization.

Auto-Order Program

• Sometimes its hard to remember to buy SCRIP
  gift cards.  Now there is a safe and convenient
  recurring order option!
• Choose the items youd like sent to you each
  month.
• Choose the day you would like the order to
  arrive.
• Payment is automatically deducted from your bank
  account for each order - no checks to write.
• Eliminate the need to remind yourself to place an
  order.
• Ensure a monthly contribution to your school or
  group.
• Simplified SCRIP Auto-order subscribers pay NO
  shipping costs on orders of 350 or more.
• Getting Started
• Your cards will arrive each month and you will
  feel good knowing that you are helping your
  school or group. Your regular monthly purchases
  can easily earn your group hundreds of dollars
  each year. You can always add more cards, change
  your order, and make extra purchases for items
  you forgot or need at certain times of the year.

• We will send out a reminder email approximately
  one week before your order is scheduled.  You may
  email any changes or additions by responding to
  the email.

How do I receive my gift cards?

• Shipping
• For a minimal fee, gift cards will be shipped
  directly and should arrive in 4-10 business days.
• Since Simplified SCRIP is a local company, you
  can also pick your gift cards up at their office
  in Middleton.
• Business hours Monday-Friday (830-430)
• We strongly suggest you call ahead. Please call
  Jenny at [phone].
• If you wish to pick up an online order, please
  enter the following
• In the bank name field, type Will pick up order
  on (date)
• Enter a false routing account number (such as
  1111111)

How can I track my fundraising?

• You will always be able to view the total
  donations in your Simplified SCRIP account on
  www.simplifiedscrip.com.
• Simplified SCRIP distributes donations on a
  quarterly basis (2/15, 5/15, 8/15. 11/15).
• On the dates of those distributions, we will
  deposit 75 of your total donations into your
  club account at Midwest Juniors.

How can I use my club account?

• The money in your club account can be used for
  any of the following
• Any Midwest Juniors Programs or Services
• Club Dues
• Recruiting Service
• VolleyTots or Youth Volleyball Academy
• Etc.
• Club Sponsored Trips

When does the program end?

• You can continue this fundraising program all
  year long and your club account will continue to
  grow for next year.
• The cutoff for this season is 8/15/2009.
• We will send a check for your account balance in
  mid-September.
• FUTURE SEASONS
• If you return to Midwest Juniors, the money you
  accumulated in your club account during the
  offseason will be waiting for you in your club
  account each year.
• If you do not continue to participate with our
  club, your remaining balance will be added to the
  Midwest Juniors account.

FAQs

• Are there any additional costs to me?The only
  additional fees are shipping charges.  You will
  be charged 1.08 or less per order for shipping.
  The higher the order, the lower the shipping
  cost.
• Am I obligated to participate after trying the
  program out?No. You can participate as much or
  as little as you like.
• Is there a minimum order quantity to
  participate?No. There is no minimum order
  quantity or dollar amount required to
  participate.
• Do the gift cards expire?Each merchant has
  different terms and conditions listed on the back
  of the gift card for your review. Prior to
  purchase, you may visit the card-issuing merchant
  website to view any expiration rules or
  restrictions. 
• What if I have problems with my order?
• Please contact our customer service department
  at 1.800.514.1891.
•  Refunds/Returns/Exchanges Order
  discrepancies, delivery issues, refund/exchange
  requests, or other problems with orders must be
  presented to Simplified SCRIP within 45 days of
  the order date.  Returned gift card orders must
  have the original face value at the time of
  purchase on the gift card when returned.  If
  returned gift cards have a value less than the
  face value at the time of sale, the customer is
  liable for the difference and may be charged a
  fee in accordance with the discrepancy.  Due to
  the nature of gift cards and their inherent
  value, gift card returns, exchanges or requests
  for a re-distribution can not be made after the
  45 day service period.
• What if I dont see a particular merchant I would
  like to purchase SCRIP gift cards from?If you
  dont see a merchant you would like, either list
  the merchant on the printed order form in the
  Suggest a Merchant box or email
  info_at_simplifiedscrip.com.

Tip from Leslie

• My least favorite part about gift cards was that
  I never used to know what the remaining balance
  on the card was!
• MariSue from Simplified SCRIP shared the
  following tip with me.
• When you pay with a gift card, most merchants
  print the remaining balance on the receipt.
• SoKEEP A SHARPIE in your car or purse. Then
  each time you use your gift cards, you can write
  the remaining balance right on the card!
