- Greening the government through waste

- The procurement program requires State and County
purchasing agencies to - - Purchase products with recycled content

located at the Makakilo Quarry - 100,000 tons of road building waste projected to
be recycled at the facility - Demolished roadways buildings will be recycled

- Recovered concrete is used as sub-grade material
for driveway project at another housing site - Wood waste is chipped for usage as cover for
their landfill
