REO 9000 Expansion Array

• SCSI-attached SATA RAID capacity expansion arrays
• For use with the REO 9000, only. Cannot be used
  standalone or with other REOs
• 16-drive single controller RAID Array
• 7 TB RAID5 w/ hot spare per unit using 500 GB
  drives
• 3.5 TB RAID5 w/ hot spare per unit using 250 GB
  drives
• Up to 4 Expansion Arrays per REO 9000
• Extends REO 9000 capacity to a maximum of 38 TB
  RAID5 formatted capacity
• Supported via the REO 9000 GUI

  streams are added until max throughput
• Expansion array performance is consistent across
  1x, 2x, 3x or 4x arrays
• Logical devices can span from REO 9000 internal
  disk to Expansion Arrays as needed

Management

• Level 2 installation is required
• Expansion Array capacity is added and removed via
  the REO GUI
• Virtual devices are created and deleted via the
  REO GUI
• Initiators are assigned via the REO GUI
• Email alerts and SNMP traps are configured via
  the REO GUI
• All user access is via the REO GUI
