Summary
I will be designing website for a Indian
restaurant. The restaurant is based on Melton
road near the sabras radio station. The business
is owned by a family who are originally from
India. The website I will be designing will be
used by every race and all the age group who
likes Indian sweets and savouries. The website
will give information on who they are, what do
they do, ways to contact them, and some sample
images of the items they sell. The website will
also give some information on some sweets they
sell e.g. where the sweets originated from and
which festivals they are popular in. The website
build should be approved in XHTML standards with
external style sheet which will apply styles to
the website and modify all the pages according to
the requirements. The website will be used by
variety of users and will require it to be easy
to use and should be loaded fast as possible so
the users dont get confused what is happening.

Background on company
The website will be built for the Indian
restaurant who want to make an existence on the
internet so they can target wide area of
customers from different cities. They used to
advertise on the radio which cost them more than
2000 which is way too much to pay for. Then
they thought to make a website and start
advertising them on the internet so they can
target more audience than a simple radio
advertising. The company is family owned so
they cant afford to pay a lot of money to market
them selves. This project will help them expand
their target audience and make more sales

Target Audience
The target audience is going to be any one who
has a basic knowledge of computers e.g. Using
mouse, keyboard and able to read English. The
age group cannot be decided due to the health
conditions they are in, but if I do have to
specify what the age group is then I will say it
will be between 5 years and 90 years because 5
year old now a days will be taught how to use the
computer and go on the internet and 90 year old
can use the internet and people with the age
after that have to take care in eating food from
outside so they are restricted to eat outside
food at all.

Principal purpose of the website
The purpose of the website is to make people
aware of what the company sells and make an
existence on the internet. Basically sell your
self to the general public over the internet so
you can . The company is an Indian sweet mart,
catering and restaurant. The website will
attract more people and this will boost the sale
and allow the user to look around the company
without talking to some one or going out somewhere

Conclusion
The website has to be fully working and should be
visible on most used resolution and they should
not change its appearance on any other browser.
The whole website should be xhtml transitional
compliant and the css should be compliant as
well. The website should also be given to the
user and tested to check if the users are
satisfied on the build

• CSS is a style sheet which modifies the WebPages
  accordingly. You declare the style and when the
  tag that you put style for is called from the
  webpage then the style sheet will tell it to
  modify it. Basically it controls the layout and
  looks of the website.
• The benefits of using the style sheet
• Declare the style in one single file to modify
  all the pages to make it consistent
• Hide all the style and formatting from
  the website
• Much faster to edit layout later so you
  don't have to go to every page and modify it
  individually

The right header box will contain image and
contrast background colour
The top Header is just plain text with background

there will be hover image

The image will be floated right so the text will
be wrapped on the left of the image.
The footer will have a link to my e-mail so if
some one has a default e-mail client then it will
open that and should have the e-mail address for
them to send to.
I am not making any more pages of the WebPages
because all the WebPages will be same but
different content.
