The water in Suisun Marsh?

• The oxygen in the water is important because that
  is what the fish breathe and if there is garbage
  in the water the fish wont be able to breathe and
  die.
• Also water is used for cooling purpose to
  generate electricity.
• Temperature of released water can affect
  downstream habitats.

Why is water temperature important?

• Water temperature is important because it
  determines the kinds of animals that can survive
  in a stream.
• Then for some organisms if it gets too cold or
  too hot they can die.
• Water temperature can affect chemistry because
  warm water holds less oxygen the cold water.

• 6,300 acres of tidal wetlands.
• 27,700 acres of upland grassland.
• 30,000 acres of bays and sloughs.

Water temperature Data!

• I think that the dock had a low temperature
  because it was 12 ft. below sea level.
• The pond was 7 ft. below sea level.
• Last the bridge was 26 ft. below sea level.
• All of the elevation was off about 30 ft.

How can water temperature indicate the health of
Suisun Marsh?

• Water temperature can help Suisun Marsh because
  it can tell us if the animals in the water can
  survive.
• Significant water temperature change can warn us
  of health concerns in the Suisun Marsh.

Conclusion

• I found out that Suisun Marsh is healthy in some
  parts. For example, some of the water was clean
  and some the water was polluted with garbage.
• Also the temperature was cold which meant the
  water has more oxygen.
• Finally, I learned that Suisun Marsh is a good
  place to keep healthy because I want the animals
  to stay healthy and survive.
