Summary

• Initially only students running Windows will be
  required to install the agent. Once the agent is
  installed, the web page will no longer be used to
  log in--the CA Agent Pop-Up will be used to log
  in.
• Students running non-Windows OSs will still log
  in using the web page. Their machine will be
  checked using a quick network-based scan.
• The agent will require the students to have an
  updated OS and be running a current AV product.
  Users that are out of compliance will be
  Quarantined with only limited access until they
  can resolve the problem.
• The agent runs in the background and
  automatically pops up and prompts for login
  whenever it sees the Clean Access server. If
  they are not on the Wireless Network or ResNet,
  the agent remains dormant
• The automatic pop-up can be disabled. If they
  disable it, the pop-up goes away, but that means
  they will manually have to start the agent to log
  in.
• This does not affect VPN users. CA comes later
  for VPN.

When the user opens their web browser, they will
be prompted to download and install the agent.

The user can choose to Run the file, or they
can Save and then run it.
