    (integrated with digital pictures and word
    processing)  The project was a beginning step
    into using technology to facilitate inquiry
    based, project based learning published to share
    our learning globally.

    technology in math class.  Excel was used to
    create graphs about a survey question they had. 
    A few of the students had family in Australia and
    the UK who also shared in the learning through
    email to the students and class.

  • My first project is a China Website designed and
    created by Grade six students.  We decided (as a
    class) to use Front Page, publishing and coming
    up with activities that would support learning. 
    The students did all the research, designed their
    pages in groups and published to our school
    website.

  • This is a claymation project with the grade five
    teacher and class.  We worked with art, digital
    photography, video editing software and
    music. This project was entered into a contest in
    a River Valley Film Contest and won first place
    in their age group. The students received a
    trophy, new video editing software. The students
    and teachers were motivated to continue to video
    capture learning for authentic audiences.

    have started and will assist the grade ones in
    podcasting penguin stories and research.
