  delivered via web video to New York student
• Last semester 17 web-based courses

• ECC website is for EDIT (instructional
  technology) faculty and students
• Faculty can maintain websites on EDUC server or
  on TLTC servers
• Faculty can directly update pages, have Ras
  assist, or ask Faculty support to modify / create
  pages
• Process of updating college website is formidable

• Increasing demand for database applications
• Fall 2001 First time for online student teacher
  applications
• Sent 270 custom emails to student teachers with
  personalized placement info in Dec 01

• Creating mailing lists for COE Faculty and COE

• Dreamweaver primary web development
• Free 508 Accessibility Extension for DW
• Frontpage for Discussion Group setups (many
  faculty use FP for development)
• Filemaker Pro for Database Development and
  web-enabled publishing
• Are going to use Lasso for IIS with SSL for
  database publishing, and MS SQL server

Interactive Video

• Currently have 1 interactive video room
• July 2002 Move to new building
• 3 iTV rooms (2 with fixed equipment)
• University TIF grant in 2000 purchased VTEL
  classroom and conference equipment for 10 rooms
  at TTU

Interactive Video (2)

• Presently have faculty using iTV rooms in 2 other
  university buildings
• This Tuesday, the vice-president of student
  Affairs at SIU was a guest speaker for one of our
  higher education courses
• Want to encourage more iTV use in traditional
  face-to-face courses
• Also want to encourage Virtual Field Trip
  student projects
