• Two social network websites are Facebook and
  Myspace.
• One good thing about social networking sites is
  you can talk to people on the computer if they
  dont have a phone.

Dangers of social networking sites

• Predators on the Internet can act like they are
  your friend or just another teenager but they are
  after something else.
• These predators can find you by the things you
  put on your profile like pictures, your plans and
  whereabouts, etc.

Things you can do to be safe

• Dont talk to anyone you dont know in person.
• Set your page and blog to private.
• If anything is making you feel uncomfortable
  report it to an adult or to the National Center
  for Missing and Exploited Childrens
  CyberTipline.
• Use a nickname that doesnt identify your
  location, gender, or age.
• Never meet anyone you first met on the Internet.
• Ignore harassing or rude comments posted on your
  profile.
