Youre walking to your job at the movie rental
shop just as the sky is blackening on a Friday
night. As youre minding your own business,
absorbing the bright lights and loud sounds, you
hear something unusual in a nearby alleyway. You
realize that its a group of hoodlums from a
notorious local gang mugging a young woman. Do
you try to stop the mugging or pretend like you
didnt see it?
2
Before you wimp out of being a brave citizen, you
dart into the alley. You attempt to stop the
mugging by shouting, Hey! Beat it, busters!
and step between them and the victim. Just as
soon as you brought yourself in the situation,
the gang effortlessly shoves you to the ground
and begins to chuckle at your attempts while they
kick you around. Do you scream for help or curl
up in a ball and take it until the group feels
you had enough?
3
Once it really hits you that youre a witness to
a crime, you tell yourself that it happens every
day, that if you were to get involved youd only
cause more chaos and harm, and that you might be
late for work. You decide that its not worth
the risk of your own life and instead start
thinking about the new girl at work. Do you
continue on your way to work or go back home and
call in sick?
4
  • You swallow your pride as you decide to yell for
help. By a luck of the draw, three policemen are
leaving the Jelly Cabin around the corner just as
you scream. They come to your aid and immediately
arrest the gang. As the gang is being escorted
away, they shoot you devilish stares and shout
obscene ideas of vengeance. You look around for
the stranger that you set out to save in the
    first place.
  • Once the police and felons are gone, do you
check on the victims well-being or immediately
make a run for it and hide out?

5
  • Feeling pessimistic about the outcome of this
situation, you decide to just try to get through
this alive. As you wait out this brutal beating,
you hear the robbed woman helplessly sobbing
behind you. Finally, the gang has gotten bored
and walked off, but not without both yours and
the victims wallet. As you struggle to get up,
she gasps in horror at the site of your blood.
  • Do you limp away and hide out or go to the
    hospital to get fixed up?

6
  • At work, your coworkers notice that you seem
sidetracked and steer clear. You keep putting the
wrong disks in DVD holders and even forget where
the comedy section is for a moment. You cant
seem to get off of your mind what you saw and
you decide that its time to leave early. Your
boss isnt very understanding of this, especially
on the busiest night of the week, and fires you.
As you make your way home, you start to think
about what youre going to do now.
  • Do you pick up free lance photographer or bum
    around?

7
  • You hurry home with much on your mind. As you
    pour yourself a
  • drink, you begin to scheme up excuses for the
    boss. You call him, hes
  • outraged, not taking any crap on the busiest
night of the week, and you
  • get fired.
  • Do you pick up free lance photography or bum
    around?

8
As it turns out, the victim was a high school
crush of yours! All of the ancient feelings came
rushing back the moment she hugged and thanked
you for saving her life. Hey dont I know you
from somewhere? Didnt we go to high school
together? Do you ask her out to dinner or
linger and catch up in the alley?
9
Before the girl has time to thank you, you run
off into the city streets. Your head begins to
fill with thoughts of the gang somehow getting
away from the police or remaining gang members
coming back to finish you off as a favor to their
jailed friends. You let the fear consume you to
the point that you live in paranoia, so much that
you start suffering from schizophrenia for the
rest of your life, moving from town to town,
running from people that are never actually there.
10
You're crumpled on the ground in a small pool of
your own blood as the gang members walk away
laughing. You beckon the victim and she helps you
to the nearest hospital. After you are tended to,
the cops bring you to the station and sit you
down in an interrogation room. They tell you that
the gangsters had been linked to multiple
accounts of robbery and murder, and you begin to
tell them everything you can remember about the
gang. Still worried for your life, you ask the
officials about Witness Protection you later
register in and live under a different alias and
city suffering of night terrors from the
remaining shock of the mugging for the rest of
your life.
11
The people at work see that youre not focused
on the job. You are putting the wrong movies in
cases and even forget where the comedy section
is. Your co-workers arent talking to you and
you cant seem to get your mind off of what you
saw. You tell your boss that you are leaving
early and need someone to cover for you. He isnt
a very understanding person and fires you on the
spot. After getting home, you start to think
about what youre going to do now.
Do you pick up free lance photography or bum
around?
12
Do you fail or do you succeed?
13
Now that youve been fired, debating with
yourself over plausible next jobs-- a few things
cross your mind but in your already saddened
state, you shrug them off, downplaying them as
just hobbies. Weeks go by and youve liquefied
all of your emergency assets days ago. You are
being evicted from your apartment, and your TV,
washing machine and car are being repossessed by
the bank. You have been forced to take up
residence in the alleyway shadowed by the
building you once called home. A few survival
instinct ideas cross your mind as to how to get
back on your feet again.
Do you live the rest of your life a hobo or climb
your way back to the top by robbing people?
14
Well, what have you been doing since
graduation?W-well, right now? Right now, Im
working at the video store across from the
multi-plex.Oh, I dont think You interrupt
her but not on purpose, it just kind of slips
out.Do you think you would want to go out to
dinner sometime?well, I mean, you just saved
my life. I guess I do owe you.Friday around,
630?That sounds great, Ill be ready. You
meet her that Friday and everything goes well.
You continue to see her and before you know it,
months have gone by and you think youre in love
with her. One night, much like that first Friday,
you and she go out to eat, but your mind is not
really focused on the dinner itself. You want to
pop the question.
15
There they are! Get em! Drowned out by pain,
police sirens and screams, the next few minutes
are a blur and take you both by surprise. The
gangsters from before had somehow escaped from
custody and came back. One hit you upside the
head with a rusty pipe while the other two dealt
with the girl. In the end, you both die and are
beaten beyond the point of recognition. You were
buried together in a cemetery after an anonymous
funeral to which hardly anyone attended due to
not knowing who either of you were.
You and her stand around and talk. After a few
minutes, you remember why you never did anything
about liking her in high school she intimidates
you. Shes no more than an inch taller, a lot
smarter, and you start to think all over again
Shes way out of my league. Regardless of the
conflict in your head, you are carrying on a
normal conversation with her, and trying to calm
her down from her attack. You become so tied up
in the conversation, or maybe something else
about her, and you dont notice the people coming
up behind her.
16
You wake up early in the morning and get ready,
grab your camera, and eagerly dart to the studio.
As you walk in, you talk to the lady at the front
desk and she directs you to the 57th floor. As
you entered the studio, it was unlike anything
you had ever seen. Camera flashes, lights, and
models! Its a lot to take in. You walk over to
the man you assume was the person you talked to
and told him you were there to do a practice
shoot. He informs you that his photographer for
the shoot that day became very ill and asked if
you think you could jump right into the real
deal.
Excited and thrilled, you stumble, Y-yessss!
The next thing you know, you are looking through
the lens at some of the most beautiful yet
probably completely fake girls you had ever
seen, snapping pictures of them. It goes by
quick, but the rush lingers. After the shoot was
over, the studio director tells you it wont take
long to develop and analyze the photos. After a
long ten minutes, he starts to walk over to
youIm sorry, but you seem to not be able to
get a good shot. You must of made a mistake.
Please, I need this. Its either my girls or
you making the mistake, and look at them. Do they
look like they could go wrong? In a very sad
stumper, you take the long elevator ride back
down to the lobby, pass by the desk clerk without
even a glance and stammer home.
Failure
Do you try to look for another job or give up on
life as a whole?

After ten minutes of eternity, he starts to walk
over to youYou didnt seem like much when you
walked in, but for as much pressure and anxiety
Im sure youre under due to just jumping right
in, you did fine, kid.Really, sir? Wow,
thanks. So do I have the job?Im sure we could
work something out, my office will give you call
sometime next week.Extremely happy and feeling
like you could overcome anything, you skip back
home and await the phone call from the office.
Although it was probably the longest week of your
life, the office finally calls you and you get a
full time position as head photographer of the
company. Ten years down the road? Well lets just
say, you have no need for money, and the events
that took place about the muggingwhat mugging?
18
Its your anniversary and you want to take her
out to a nice restaurant. The two of you get all
dressed up and go to Bon Sejour, a very fancy
French restaurant.
After a nice dinner, the waiter brings out some
champagne and pours the glasses. You make a toast
and she drinks. Her heart stops, she finds a ring
in the bottom of her glass and immediately, tears
come to her eye. You get out of your chair, kneel
beside hers and ask her to marry you. She thinks
about it and sets the ring down on the table very
delicately.Im sorry, but I cant do this. I
just cant. Without another word, she gets up
and gracefully walks out. You jerk to your feet
and plop into her chair picking up the ring. So
many emotions are flowing through your head.
Thoughts of anger, depression, and lust. Do you
fall into a deep depression , stalk her forever,
or just kill her?

she tells you. Time flies by and its your
wedding day, you both say your I dos and tie
the knot. They say most high school crushes dont
work out, but you prove them whoever Them
are, wrong and live out your days with her happy
and never out of love.
20
It is one week to the day since you proposed. You
have been mulling it over and over, fighting with
your inner demons and came to only one
conclusion Ive lost. Youre sitting outside in
the parking garage of the place your ex works,
waiting on her to come to her car. You anxiously
look around and in your rear-view mirror, set on
one thing. You see her, finally, coming across
the otherwise empty lot and get out of your car.
You walk up to her and just stare. She stumbles
to a stop and asks you what your doing. You say
nothing in return.Stop it! Youre scaring me!
she runs for her car door, but you block it. In a
rage, you dart at her and suddenly black out. The
next thing you remember, youre on trial for the
murder, ironically of the girl you saved, and
its the closing day. You are convicted of murder
in the highest degree and sentence to life in
prison. Its been 2 years since then and youre
inmate is going to attempt to break out in the
morning.
Do you attempt the escape with him or just stay
put?
21
After you miss out on what could have been your
biggest break ever, sit and find yourself in a
familiar situation. About a week goes by and
after checking local listings and ads,
you end up as a cook at The Burger Lounge. For
the rest of your working career, you work minimum
wage serving happy meals to little kids.
22
After sitting around, drowning in depression and
sulking in self pity, you talk yourself down to
the point to where you dont think you are going
to amount to anything. You write a note
explaining when happened about the mugging and
how you didnt tell anyone. You were found a week
later hanging from the chandelier in your foyer.
23
Suffering from the rejection from your
non-fiancé, you start to find yourself outside
her apartment and following her to work. You
begin stalking her and pretty much devote the
rest of your life pretending to be with her. You
come home to a cardboard cut out you made in her
likeness and continue to stalk her until you die.
What a sad, pathetic life.
24
You decide you have had enough of the outside
life and being in prison is what you deserve. You
sit the rest of your life wondering what could
have happened if only you had just ignored the
mugging and went to work. Where would I of ended
up? It couldnt be any worst than this. And you
are there until your new inmate kills you with
your toilet seat.
25
You tell yourself you would rather take the risk
and try to get a little money, the bad way. You
start out just mugging people walking in alley
ways near yours ironic isnt it? As you get
bolder and relatively more skilful, you start to
rob nearby convenience stores with the help of
your new found, also homeless, friends.
Eventually you gather enough money to skip town
in order to lay low for a little while. Feeling
generous, you give your accomplices some money
for their troubles, and still have enough to get
back on your feet. However, though you may be
getting back on top, you cant just throw away
the rush you get from stealing. You become a
notorious robber and eventually move to banks.
After a few years, you move to some tropical
foreign place and live off of your rewards.
26
You decide you have nothing to lose and agree to
help your inmate escape. You go to bed nervous,
but excited and hopeful of the next morning. It
seems like you were only asleep for a few minutes
when the hulking inmate woke you up. He moved
some boxes over from the wall to expose a
chiseled out hole. He told you it would lead
outside to the roof and from there it was a piece
of cake. You follow him through the narrow crawl
spaces until he tells you to stop. You hear a
loud smash and dust and dirt fall into your eyes.
Squinting, you can see the light of the morning
and you crawl for it. Once outside, he and you
elaborately climb down the prison walls and make
a break for the gate. The next thing you know, a
dog is at your heels ripping jumpsuit and flesh
away. Welp, you die in the process of breaking
free, but on the bright side, your inmate escaped
somehow......
27
Youve been homeless for quite some time and you
realize the beauty in it. Yes, its filthy and
the quality of living sucks, but you have a nice
spacious refrigerator box with a tarp-covered
porch and a mangy probably dying dog. The
friends you have made are very close to you and
you decide this is the way you want to live. You
learn that the true happiness of life isnt where
you stay or what you buy, but the food you find
in the trash behind China King.
