Step 1

• Identify the three (or more) main points that
  your essay must make to support your thesis.
• If your essay was only 4 sentences long, and the
  first sentence was your thesis, what three
  sentences would you like to add to clarify your
  thesis?
• Each of these sentences may be used as whats
  known as a topic sentence for one paragraphs.
