HOW I. Child Immunizations

• UNICEF is a global leader in vaccines supply.
• New vaccines against the main causes of child
  deaths, pneumonia and diarrhea offer hope.
• More life services are provided as well such as
  vitamin supplements, mosquito nets to prevent
  malaria and rehydration programs.

• The vaccines provided by UNICEF reach 40 of the
  children worldwide.
• Altogether they save about 1 million lives every
  year in addition to the 2.5 million deaths
  prevented by UNICEF

• About 2.5 billion people lack good sanitation
  facilities
• Over 884 million still use unsafe drinking water.
• This kills and sickens thousands of children
  every day.

  water supplies and sanitation.
• UNICEF is working to halve by 2015 the number of
  people without access to clean and safe water.
