  • We increased awareness about socialism and
    sparked conversation around campus by celebrating
    No More Che Day.

Constitution day
  • We celebrated Constitution Day by handing out
    free pocket Constitutions to students

    tickets.
  • They were 45 per student!

Alachua County Sheriff Sadie Darnell was super
friendly and impressed by how many of us there
were.
Our friend Senator Steve Oelrich fit right in
with his black cowboy hat.

  • For most of us, it was our first time meeting
    political leaders such as Speaker of the House
    Larry Cretul.

Our good friend and recently elected
State Representative Keith Perry came by to
take a picture with us and meet new club members.

Veterans day memorial
Thanks to the generous help of Army ROTC, HOLA,
and other Santa Fe students, we were able to
create a flag memorial in honor of all those who
have served and are still serving this beautiful
country that we love.

Freedom Day
On Tuesday, November 9, we celebrated the 21st
Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall by
inviting students to graffiti our own Berlin Wall
with messages of freedom and democracy.

This event was a great opportunity for us to
interact with our fellow student body and talk
about the falling of the Berlin Wall and its
impact on our lives today.

Christmas tree
We set up and decorated a Christmas tree to
display in the Administration Building that would
later be donated to a local family with limited
financial resources.
