As a teacher I hear many different excuses as to
why projects cant get done.

• My computer doesnt have Power Point or
  Excel.
• I did my project but I lost my flash drive.
• My flash drive doesnt open on this computer.
• I couldnt work on the project with Bob because
  my mom wont let me go to his house.
• I needed to find resources to help.

Luckily I was introduced to Google Docs

  spreadsheet and presentation editor that enables
  you and your students to create, store and share
  instantly and securely, and collaborate online in
  real time. You can create new documents from
  scratch or upload existing documents,
  spreadsheets and presentations. There's no

How to use google docs in the classroom?

• Google Docs can be useful in the classroom in a
  variety of ways.

What do you need to use Google Docs?
Google Docs is free and easy to use. All you
need to do is sign yourself and your students up
for a Gmail accounts and you can get started
right away.

The cost of Microsoft Office can be very
expensive for some of our families. Google Docs
is a way to let everyone have the opportunity to
use such programs to create various pieces of
work.

Google Docs can be used to create spreadsheets
similar to Excel.

Google Docs can be used to create presentations
similar to Power Point.

Google Docs Forms can act as free web polling
service and can be used to create Surveys.You
can even use it to help keep track of a party
guest list.

When you use Documents you can create work that
is similar to work that you would otherwise use
Microsoft Word to complete.

Google Docs even has a program that is comparable
to Microsoft Paint

Google Docs

• Google Docs is a online storage system where you
  can work on projects at the same time as another
  person. It is free for anyone, and easy to use.
  It is much less expensive than Microsoft Office
  and lends itself to be used at any computer that
  has internet access. Good luck and I hope this
