What is PodCasting?

• Podcasting is creating a series of files
  (digital audio) that can be downloaded to a
  computer then transferred to an IPOD or MP3
  player.
• Podcasting is a Web 2.0 tool that allows students
  to collaborate and share information.

Why is Podcasting a useful tool for the Classroom

• 1. Students can listen anywhere.
• 2. Great for auditory learners.
• 3. Easy for students to create access.
• 4. Allows for students to collaborate share
  their information.
• 5. Can be used for cross curricular instruction.

  student success they need to be engaged in
  authentic assessment.

• Collecting field notes, creating radio shows,
  oral science reports, digital art projects,
  digital portfolios, weekly classroom news,
  reflective journals, musical compositons
