009 NUTRITION GARDEN
To create a small sustainable space which
incorporates waste management and nutrition garden
MATERIALS REQUIRED
A piece of land 1.5 m X 1.5 m Garden tools

SOIL
Mark a circle 1 metre in diameter. Just make a
rough line for convenience. Now dig the soil with
45 to 60 cm at the middle, tapering towards the
rim. Place the soil you dug on the rim as a
circular mound.

Your ring garden is ready to be started now. Put
vegetable peelings and waste from your kitchen in
the pit and allow it to get composted. Add little
soil to cover the waste. water lightly and
regularly. Keep adding everydays waste. As it
gets composted, plant your vegetables on the
mound. You are composting (recycling your
kitchen waste) at the same time growing good
vegetables like tomato, okra, egg plant, etc.
