Simulating the soil with cereal flakes it would
be easy to demonstrate the impact of soil
compaction on water percolation into the soil.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
2 Glass or plastic tumblers Milk Crisp flakes of
rice or corn
milk

The milk easily flows to the bottom of the
tumbler in A while it does not happen so in B.
Why? What do you infer? How can you correlate
