Geography of Japan

• Japan is consisting of 5 important islands there
  are Honshu, Hokkaido, Shikoku, Kyushu and
  Okinawa. It separate from the east coast of Asia
  .Over the north is a land of Siberia. On the west
  is peninsular of Korea and China.
• Honshu is the 1st biggest Japan island, it around
  231,045 kilometers. There are 4 important cities
  1.Capital city Tokyo, 2. Yokohama, 3. Oosaka and
  4. Nagoya.
• Honshu is central of government, culture
  and industry.
• Hokkaido is in the north of Honshu and 2nd
  biggest island from Honshu around 83,451
  kilometers, it very cold in winter and nice in
  summer .There are mountain and big plain suited
  for agriculture.
• Shikoku is about 18,783 kilometers. It surrounds
  by Honshu island and Kyushu island .In the middle
  there is high mountain. People live on basin of
  coast, do fishing and agriculture.
• Kyushu is about 42,154 kilometers .It on the
  southwest of Honshu and there are many mountain
  .Weather is worm although in winter .The people
  do agriculture.
• Okinawa is consisting of small and big island
  around it. Land side is about 2,265 kilometers.
  Weather is like hot zone, and have important
  place for travel.

Population of Japan

• From the survey in year 2005, there are 127.77
  million people in Japan .
• Most of people use same language and culture.
  There are foreigners, e.g. Koreans,
• Chinese, Filipinos, Brazilians and from other
  country live in big city around
• hundred of 1.2 million. The nationality is Yamoto
  . there are minority e.g. Ainu,
• Ryukyuan and burakumin. Japan population have
  highest life rate around 82.07
• year old that mean they have the most longer live

• Korean The lowest rate is Korean
  people. It around more than 5 hundred thousand in
  every year, from year 1961-1992 the rate is
  constant until 1993 the rate is gradually down.
• Chinese The rate of Chinese
  people is not different from Korean people
  because it rises up a little from Korean rate but
  in year 1988 the rate is gradually rise until
  more than 1 million in year 2005.
• Brazilians The rate of Brazilian
  people is same as Chinese people until year 1990
  the rates go up very fast in 15 year and highest
  nearly 1.5 million.
• Peru Is third highest rate
  from other country with nearly 1.7 million
  people.
• American American people are
  second highest rate from other country with
  around 1.7 million people.
• Other country The highest rate of
  all rates in the graph. Only 44 year the people
  from other country come to Japan around 2 million
  people from year 1961-2005.

Religion in Japan

• The important religions in Japan are Buddhism,
  Shinto and Christianity.
• Buddhism is propagating to Japan by pass China
  and Korea in middle of 6th century. Interval that
  Buddhism to reach in Japan, the teaching of the
  Buddha have change too many and moreover when it
  met old believe that Japanese respect in present.
  The Buddhism in Japan separate in 56 big sects
  and 170 small sects.
• Shinto is old religion or can say that born with
  Japanese. The word Shinto mean the way of the
  god. Shinto have a believe that every substance
  in natural and phenomenon have soul or god to
  live in it or can say that is believe in spirit
  mix with worship to ancestor in Buddhism.
• Christianity is propagation to Japan for first
  time in Year 1549 by Group of mission nary
  Catholic sect because of Daimyu, who reign the
  land is selfish from the commerce with foreign
  country, so giving good welcome to group of
  Missionary however in present have less respecter
  but Christianity having many roles in education.

• What they do? They will write an explanation

• bamboo tree.

Japan spirit or devil

• Kappa It likes to induce children go in swamp
  and drown. It always thing that, its very strong
  and like to challenge to play sumo. The ways to
  save your self from it are giving cucumber or
  make a dish on its head dry.
• Zashiki-Warashi Some time will hear like
  children run in the house and like to play with
  children in that house which it live but adult
  cant see it. When it live in which house it will
  give the wealth but if it away from that house
  the wealth will gone too and the ruin will come .
• Sarayachiki It is servant spirit likes to
  counting the places in night, cry and disappear.
  It has some legend say that - - Oyama tessan in
  love with beautiful women name Okiku but she
  dont love him, so he make a trick by give 10
  expensive dishes to her to take care it. One day
  he hide 1 dish and ask her to count 10 dishes
  that he give, she count again and again the total
  always 9. She very afraid of tessan will punish
  her but he say If you want me to forgive it, you
  will be my second wife. She refuse his offer,
  its make he angry and kill her and throw her
  body in the well. After that the Okikus spirit
  always appear at that well and counting the 10
  dishes. She count only 9 and cry because it have
  only 9 after that she was disappear.

• This sport was start in 8 century by royal place

  have to develop to be sport like now.
• Who want to be a sumo should have body weight
  around 113-159 Kg.. To dress with
• small fabric. The rule is both of competitor
  should fight in circle by dont take any part
• of his body out of circle, If some one out of
  circle it mean lose.
• Judo
• Judo is the art to protect your self that be come
  Japan national sport. The important
• thing of judo is make opponents power to be
  useful for your self. Who is play judo
• should to wear white cloth.
• Kendo
• Kendo started from fighting name kenyusu which
  use sword to fight. In present have
• change to use bamboo to make sword, no real sword
  same as the past. The player
• should wear defensive to protect your body.

How to make gyoza

• Preparation
• Mix the water and the flour together
• Separate the dough in 30 pieces, and form each of
  them to very thin discs with a diameter of about
  10 cm. The middle of each disc should be a little
  bit thicker than the edge.
• Cut some green, outer cabbage leaves, some green
  onion (or leek),ginger, and garlic in very small
  pieces. The amount of these ingredients should
  equal the amount of meat. Do it as you like.
• Put some salt on the cabbage, and let it stand
  for five minutes. Then press the water out of the
  cabbage pieces.
• Mix the cabbage, green onion (or leek),ginger,
  garlic, and pork all together, and add some salt,
  pepper, soya sauce, sake, and sesame oil. Mix it
  all very well.

How to make gyoza

• Making and frying the Gyoza
• Put some of the filling onto a piece of dough.
• Moisten the edge of the dough with water. Moisten
  only a semicircle, not all the way around.
• Close the gyoza
• Fry the Gyoza in a little bit of hot oil until
  the bottom is brownish, then add water so that
  the gyoza are in the water with about half of
  their height.
• Keep the high heat and wait until all the water
  has steam. Then remove the gyoza from the heat.
• Dipping sauce Mix the same amounts of soya sauce
  and vinegar together.

Japanese language

• Hiragana
• It is first type that has to change from Chinese
  alphabet. It as know as women symbol handwriting,
  so it has new alphabet call katakana for men. By
  the 10th century, hiraganas were used by
  everybody. The function is use with kanji or
  single for make a sentence.
• Katakana
• It has to invent after hiragana, by the reason
  that hiragana is women symbol. It has to change
  from Chinese alphabet too same as hiragana. The
  function is use for foreign word, animal sound
  and natural sound.
• Kanji
• The Japanese imported kanji from China a long
  time ago and absorbed it into their language by
  assigning Japanese meanings. Kanji are different
  from hiragana and katakana because they have
  specific meanings.
